ITV is owned by ITV plc, previously Grenada Plc and Carlton communications, ITV plc is owned by ofcom previously and was set up as competition for the BBC, they provide a wide range of channels and products from children's programmes, news and drama, such as Morse, Lewis, Endeavour, Doc Martin, downton abbey, Wycliffe. ITV player allows viewers to catch up on missed programmes.
